Edo, a lawyer and Chartered Financial Analyst previously worked in the Treasury Department for Investec Bank in South Africa and the UK before moving into investment banking. He co-manages the local and global equity strategies.
Sybrandt, a mechanical engineer and holder of a MBA, has over 25 years’ experience in portfolio management at well-known firms such as Old Mutual and Coronation. He manages Methodical’s Equity Preserver strategies focusing on delivering risk-reduced equity returns.
Charl, qualified CA(SA) and CFA Charterholder has worked at The Ashton Group and Ford Motors as an auditor before moving to RussellStone Group as a currency and commodity dealer. He co-manages the local and global equity strategies.
JP, a Bachelor of Commerce graduate and Chartered Financial Analyst has over 20 years of experience in financial markets. He spent 12 years in London working as a Bond Trader and Fixed Income hedge fund manager before returning to South Africa in 2009. In South Africa JP was deputy head of fixed income at Prescient Investment Management and more recently at Laurium Capital where he was head of fixed income. He is head of fixed income at Methodical managing the various income and bond products within the group.
Ross has over 35 years of domestic and international experience in both financial services and information technology. He started off his career as a Bond and Equity Derivatives trader. Subsequent to that he was head of NinetyOne in the US, having established the business there, and thereafter head of retail at NinetyOne in South Africa. He focuses on overall business strategy and the management of the Methodical businesses.
Claire has over 20 years operations and administrative experience, 11 of those in the Financial Services industry. As Head of Operations she manages the various administrative functions for the business as well as the marketing function.
Etienne is the holder of a BCom Investment Management degree and has completed Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1. Etienne started his career as an analyst in the Private Wealth sector where he developed a passion for asset management. Etienne’s role within the company is as an analyst in the Investment Team.
